The VviewCanarias selection
LAS TERESITAS — Perfect for spending the day, swimming calmly and enjoying a golden-sand beach ringed by the Anaga mountains. BENIJO — One of the most visually spectacular beaches in Tenerife. Ideal for nature, photography and taking in the landscape. NATURAL POOLS OF THE NORTH — The northern coastline is full of natural pools formed by volcanic activity. They are a different way to discover Tenerife's relationship with the ocean. GARACHICO — The natural pools of Garachico are an essential stop on any trip through the north. EL MÉDANO — Perfect for combining beach, a walk, water sports and sunset.
A word of caution
Before swimming in any natural pool or northern beach, always check the state of the sea. The Atlantic can change quickly.
Photography tip
Black-sand beaches work especially well in the last hours of the day, when the contrast between volcanic sand, ocean and silhouettes creates spectacular light.
Where to stay
Our homes are spread across Tenerife and La Gomera, so almost all of these routes are a short drive away.

Route 01
The roof of Spain
There are places you visit and places you remember. Climbing Teide belongs to the second kind. At 3,715 metres, Teide dominates Tenerife and offers one of the most striking landscapes in the Canaries. To really enjoy it, it is worth planning the visit and giving it time.
Route 02
The Tenerife many visitors never get to see
If you want to discover a greener, quieter, more authentic Tenerife, drive north. Historic towns, roads winding through banana plantations, cliffs, natural pools and some of the island's most spectacular scenery make this one of our favourite routes.
Route 03
The forest where Tenerife feels like another island
Anaga is one of those places you struggle to believe is in Tenerife. Mountains, mist, narrow roads, ravines and small villages hidden among the vegetation make up one of the most remarkable landscapes in the Canaries.
